Visitors to Venice are better served by Venice Marco Polo Airport and for Lake Garda it makes more sense to fly to Verona Airport. If you need to fly via Treviso it takes around an hour and 10 minutes to transfer to Venice by bus or for the city of Padova, a car journey of 48 minutes.
Heading in the other direction to go skiing in the Dolomites; the journey north to Cortina d'Ampezzo takes just under 2 hours by car.
