Cavo  Ferry  Schedules

The Cavo ferry schedules detail one of the routes from the island of Elba to the Italian mainland port of Piombino in Tuscany. 

Cavo is the closest of Elba's six ports to the mainland and provides the shortest crossing times. Two companies operate the route with Moby providing vehicle and passenger ferries, and Toremar the foot passenger hydrofoils which are able to run at higher speeds. 

The fastest journey time between Cavo and Piombino is 15 minutes with the ferries typically making the same journey in around half an hour. The price difference between the ferries and hydrofoils is negligible but there are more hydrofoils available.

The Cavo ferry ticket booking engine can be used not only for booking tickets, but also for checking the times. When purchasing a ticket via the booking engine a transaction fee applies that you don't have to pay when buying directly from the ticket office. If you simply want to check the latest times, just enter your dates and the route option - you don't have to go as far as making a booking if you don't want to.
