Cocconato is a charming hilltop town located in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Its history dates back to ancient times, and it has been influenced by various civilizations over the centuries.
History
The area was once inhabited by the Ligurians and Celts before becoming a Roman settlement. During the Middle Ages, Cocconato was part of the feudatory of Monferrato and later came under the rule of the Savoy dynasty.
