By Rail: Ponzano Monferrato does not have its own train station. The nearest station is in Casale Monferrato, about 12 kilometres away, on regional lines operated by Trenitalia. From Alessandria, the train to Casale Monferrato takes around 40 minutes, and from Vercelli about 35 minutes. From Casale Monferrato station, Ponzano Monferrato can be reached in around 20 minutes by car or taxi.

By Road: Ponzano Monferrato is located in the Monferrato hills, within the province of Alessandria. From Alessandria, the distance is about 35 kilometres, with a driving time of around 45 minutes. From Turin, the journey is approximately 70 kilometres and takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Parking is available near the village centre and at the edge of the historic area.
