Gardens  of  Piedmont

The three most beautiful gardens of Piedmont are situated on and around Lake Maggiore. Two of the gardens are the dominant feature of the respective Borromean Islands that they occupy while the third lies just on the fringes of the city of Verbania. 

Arguably the most beautiful of all the gardens of Italy is Villa Taranto. It's situated just outside Verbania on the edge of Lake Maggiore where it has its own ferry station. 

Both Borromean Islands of Isola Bella and Isola Madre are on the Piedmont side of Lake Maggiore with wonderful gardens.
