Standing guard at the port entrance, La Torretta of Savona is a medieval tower that rises to a height of 23 metres. Built in the fourteenth century, it's one of the iconic symbols of Savona.
The tower is situated to the side of the road just in front of the marina which is mainly populated by small boats. The tower is a favourite meeting place and close to the modernised harbour area. |
