Some of the landmarks of Tuscany can be found away from the bigger cities and towns of the region where there are world famous cathedrals, museums and other historic buildings.
In this collection we find a mixture between man-made landmarks such as the Ponte della Maddalena which dates back too the 12th century, and natural landmarks such as lakes and mountains. Traversing both of those elements is Lake Bilancino; an artificial lake but nevertheless one of the most popular in the region, while Lake Santa Luce and Monte Amiata were totally nature's work. |
