The seaside town of Lavagna is situated on the Riviera di Levante in the Province of Genoa.

It has a population of 12,566 inhabitants and is located 45 kilometres south east of Genoa, the capital city of Liguria. ​The town has 8 hotels while nearby places of interest include Chiavari, Sestri Levante, Zoagli, Rapallo and Moneglia.
