The Lenno Baptistery or Battistero di San Giovanni Battista is one of the finest remaining examples of Romanesque architecture in the Lake Como area. Built in the 11th century, it's still used for small exhibitions and its walls are adorned by beautiful frescoes.
The Baptistery is the standout sight of the small centro storico of the village of Lenno which gently slopes down towards the lake. |
