How to Get to Lierna
By Rail: Lierna has its own train station on the Lecco–Colico railway line, served by regional Trenord services. Trains run approximately once per hour in both directions, connecting Lierna with Lecco, Colico, and Milan. The journey to Lecco takes around 30 minutes, while the journey to Milan takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes with a change at Lecco. The station is located close to the town centre and within walking distance of the lakefront.
By Road: Lierna is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Como, about 70 kilometres north of Milan and 20 kilometres north of Lecco. The drive from Milan takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes via the SS36 dual carriageway, exiting at Abbadia Lariana or Varenna and continuing on the SP72 lakeside road.
