The Lipari to Stromboli ferry times show a maximum of nine daily crossings by hydrofoil and a smaller number of ferry crossings on selected days of the week. The hydrofoils are for foot passengers only and operate all year round, unlike the summer only car ferries.

​Lipari is the central island in the Aeolian Islands archipelago and separated from Stromboli by a distance of 44 kilometres.
