The town of Maranello is located within the Province of Modena and has a population of 17,680 inhabitants.

Standing at an elevation of 137 metres above sea level, it lies 44 kilometres west of Bologna, the capital of Emilia Romagna. The main sight of Maranallo is the Ferrari Museum (Museo Ferrari Maranello).
