The seaside town of Marciana Marina is located along the northern coast of the island of Elba in the Tuscan Archipelago. One of the most attractive towns on the island, it's also one of the seven official comunes of Elba with a population of close to two thousand.
At the centre of the town is a pretty church called the Chiesa di Santa Chiara d'Assisi on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. |
Marciana Marina can boast a good range of accommodation, shops, bars and restaurants along its seafront. A small stretch of beach is located just before the large marina to the west of the town centre, while just beyond that is a private beach establishment called Spiaggia della Fenicia e Fenicetta.
