The town of Marostica is located within the Province of Vicenza and has a population of 14,038 inhabitants. It's situated around 75 kilometres north west of Venice, the regional capital of Veneto.​ 

​Standing at an elevation of 103 metres above sea level, it covers an area of 36 km². Among the nearby places of interest are Bassano del Grappa, Cittadella and Castelfranco Veneto. ​

Marostica is a historic town located in the Veneto region of northern Italy, situated about 30 kilometres northwest of Vicenza. Nestled at the foot of the Asiago Plateau and surrounded by the rolling hills of the Veneto, Marostica is known for its medieval charm and its strategic position along the ancient trade routes. The town offers a blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it an inviting destination for visitors.

The heart of Marostica is its well-preserved medieval town centre, characterised by narrow cobbled streets, charming piazzas, and historical buildings.
