​The beach resort of Mondello is situated within the Metropolitan City of Palermo province, on the Tyrrhenian coast. It's officially a part of the comune of Palermo, around 12 kilometres away.

Places of interest nearby include Monreale, Santa Flavia, Altavilla Milicia and Alcamo Marina while Palermo Airport is 22 kilometres away and takes just over twenty minutes to reach by car.

Mondello is a charming seaside town located on the northern coast of Sicily, just a few kilometers from Palermo, the capital city of the island. The area has a rich history that dates back to ancient times, with evidence of Phoenician and Roman settlements.

However, it was during the 19th and early 20th centuries that Mondello gained popularity as a fashionable beach resort destination for the aristocracy and wealthy families of Palermo. Today, Mondello remains a beloved destination for both locals and tourists seeking a beautiful beach setting and a vibrant atmosphere.
