How to Get to Mondello
By Rail: Mondello does not have its own train station. The nearest train station is in Palermo, about 12 km away. From Palermo, you can take a local bus or taxi to Mondello, which takes around 20 minutes.

By Road: Mondello is approximately 12 km from Palermo, and the drive takes around 20 minutes via the SS113 road. From the centre of Palermo, follow signs for Mondello. The road is also accessible via the SP1 road, which connects to surrounding areas.

  • Falcone Borsellino Airport (Aeroporto di Palermo-Falcone Borsellino): Located about 30 km west of Mondello, the drive takes around 40 minutes via the A29 motorway. From the airport, you can rent a car or take a taxi to Mondello.
  • Trapani-Birgi Airport (Aeroporto di Trapani-Birgi): Situated about 100 km west of Mondello, the drive takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes via the A29 motorway. From Trapani, you can rent a car or take a bus to Palermo, then transfer to a local bus or taxi to Mondello.
