Getting there
The Foresta di Montes is located in the province of Nuoro, which is in the central-eastern part of Sardinia. The nearest major airport is Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, which is approximately 125 kilometers away.

​From there, you can rent a car and embark on a scenic drive to Nuoro. Public transportation options, including buses and trains, can also take you to Nuoro, from where you can arrange local transportation to the forest.
