The beach resort of Nicotera Marina is situated on the Tyrrhenian Coast, in the Province of Vibo Valentia. 

It's officially part of the Nicotera comune and is located 33 kilometres south west of Vibo Valentia, the provincial capital. Places of interest nearby include Capo Vaticano, Santa Maria di Ricadi, Tropea and Briatico.
