Latest update: 19 February 2022
The Noto Cathedral is the most dazzling piece of the memorable puzzle that makes up the hill town of Noto in Sicily. The town was rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake and along with seven other nearby towns, forms the Val di Noto UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Completed in 1776 and built from Iblean limestone, the Cathedral is a prime example of the Sicilian Baroque architectural style. |
