​The Orosei Gulf coastal area is situated on Sardinia's eastern coast in the Province of Nuoro.

From the seaside town of Cala Gonone it's possible to take boat tours along the coast, stopping at a series of spectacular beaches such as Cala Mariolu, Cala Luna and Cala Goloritzé​​​. Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is an hour and 20 minutes away by car.

The Orosei Gulf, also known as the Gulf of Orosei, is a stunning stretch of coastline located on the eastern coast of Sardinia, Italy. The area has a rich history dating back to ancient times when it was inhabited by various civilizations, including the Nuragic people. The Nuragic civilization left behind remarkable stone structures known as nuraghi, which can still be seen in some parts of the region.

During medieval times, the Gulf of Orosei became a strategic area for maritime trade and was vulnerable to attacks from pirates and invaders. The coastal towns and villages fortified themselves to protect their inhabitants and resources.

Today, the Orosei Gulf is a popular destination for tourists seeking unspoiled natural beauty, pristine beaches, and opportunities for outdoor adventures.
