The hill town of Orosei is situated within​ the Province of Nuoro, a distance of 218 kilometres north east of Cagliari, the regional capital of Sardinia. Standing at an elevation of 19 metres above sea level it has a population of around 7,000 residents.

Some of the nearby places of interest include Cala Cartoe, Dorgali, Cala Gonone and the Orosei Gulf.

Orosei is a town located on the eastern coast of Sardinia, in the province of Nuoro. Situated between the mountains and the sea, Orosei offers a blend of historical charm and natural beauty.
