  • Historic Centre and Stone Architecture are characterised by narrow lanes, vaulted passageways, and houses built from pietra da cantoni, the region’s distinctive sandstone. The village layout follows the hillside, with terraced buildings and stairways connecting different levels. Many houses have been carefully restored and retain traditional features.
  • Castle of Ozzano Monferrato is a privately owned residence perched on a wooded ridge just above the village. Though not open to the public, the castle remains an iconic landmark and is often visible from walking trails. It has medieval origins and has been modified over the centuries into a noble residence.
  • Infernot and Wine Cellars are scattered throughout the village and can be visited during local festivals or by special arrangement. By Rail: Ozzano Monferrato does not have its own train station. The nearest station is in Casale Monferrato, about 6 kilometres away, on regional lines operated by Trenitalia. From Alessandria, the train to Casale Monferrato takes around 40 minutes, and from Vercelli about 35 minutes. From Casale Monferrato station, Ozzano Monferrato can be reached in approximately 10 minutes by car or taxi.

By Road: Ozzano Monferrato is situated in the Monferrato hills in the province of Alessandria. From Alessandria, the distance is about 33 kilometres, with a driving time of around 40 minutes. From Turin, the journey is approximately 75 kilometres and takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Parking is available at the edges of the village and near the main square.
