The Pavia Cathedral is a 15th century Renaissance church in the city centre of Pavia in the Lombardy region. Work on the structure began in 1488 but completion occurred many years later. 

One of the most important development phases of the Duomo di Pavia was the addition of the huge dome in 1885; the fourth largest in Italy which dominates the skyline at a height of 84 metres.
