Pordenone Province

The Pordenone Province once covered an area of 2,275 square kilometres including the provincial capital: Pordenone.
Within the province there were51 provincial towns, which contained a total population of around 312 thousand inhabitants. Among the highlights of the province wee the towns of San Vito al Tagliamento, Sacile, Sesto al Reghena, Cordovado and Spilimbergo. |

On 30th September 2017 Pordenone Province was disbanded when the administrative system in Friuli Venezia Giulia changed. There are now 18 Intercomunal Territorial Unions, five of which contain land that was once within the Province of Pordenone with the city of Pordenone itself now the administrative capital of the UTI del Noncello.
