Provinces  of  Friuli  Venezia  Giulia

In 2018 the four provinces of Friuli Venezia Giulia were reclassified under the  new system of Intermunicipal Territorial Unions, or Unioni Territoriali Intercomunali in Italian. 

Before the reclassification, Friuli Venezia Giulia was divided up between Trieste Province, Udine Province, Gorizia Province and Pordenone Province. 

The new systems of Territories of Friuli Venezia Giulia is split into 18 different districts which are as a consequence much smaller than each of the previous provinces used to be.
