Rio  nell'Elba​

The hillside village of Rio nell'Elba belongs to the Comune of Rio on the island of Elba. It's situated on the eastern side of the island, around six kilometres inland of Rio Marina on the coast. 

​Offering something of a contrast from the typical coastal towns of the island, Rio nell'Elba is characterised by its slower pace of life, colourful buildings and the Chiesa dei Santi Giacomo e Quirico.
