The lakeside village of Sala Comacina is situated in the Province of Como, on the shores of Lake Como. It has a population of around 500 residents and is located a distance of 73 kilometres north of Milan, the regional capital of Lombardy.

History
Sala Comacina has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. The village was settled by the Romans, and archaeological findings suggest that it was an important center during the Roman era.
