Standing at an elevation of 135 metres above sea level, it lies 46 kilometres north west of Cagliari, the regional capital of Sardinia. Sanluri is famous for the Castello di Eleonora d'Arborea, a 12th century castle later named in honour of a Sardinian heroin. |
