Ski  Resorts  of  Friuli  Venezia  Giulia

The main ski resorts of Friuli Venezia Giulia include the town of Tarvisio which is situated in the far north-eastern corner of Italy right next to the international border with Slovenia. 

A short distance from Tarvisio and in fact part of the same official comune is the resort of Camporosso.

It is in fact this area of Friuli Venezia Giulia that contains the greatest concentration of ski resorts; just a short distance south of Camporosso is another of the best in the region: Ravascletto. As an alternative to those are the likes of Sella Nevea and Sappada.
