The town of Soleto is situated with the Salento region of Puglia in the Province of Lecce.

Standing at an elevation of 91 metres above sea level, it has a population of around 5,000 residents and lies 22 kilometres south of the city of Lecce itself. 

​Places of interest nearby include Galatina, the Basilica di Santa Caterina d'Alessandria and Corigliano d'Otranto.

Soleto is a small, historic town located in the southern part of Puglia, within the Province of Lecce.
