The Sorrento to Amalfi ferry times detail a route that's only available during the summer but with as many as six sailing times per day. The route heads west from Sorrento before rounding the headland of the eponymous Peninsula to turn towards Amalfi.  

Alilauro and NLG operate the service with a fastest journey time of an hour and a one-way adult hydrofoil ticket costing €18.
