The beach resort of Sottomarina is situated on the Adriatic Coast, in the Metropolitan City of Venice province. 

Venice, the regional capital of Veneto, lies across the Venice Lagoon and can be reached by road in around an hour. ​​​Among the places of interest within a short distance are Chioggia, Pellestrina, Po Delta Regional Park and Padua.
By car it's just a 5 minute drive to Chioggia but parking there is difficult and traffic heavy so walking is better and takes around 15 minutes from the resort centre. Venice and Padua are both around an hour away by car.  The most convenient airports for Sottomarina are Venice Marco Polo Airport (60 km) and Treviso Airport (73 km).
