Situated on Piazza del Duomo in the centre of the hill town is Spoleto Cathedral. Built in the twelfth century, the Cathedral is one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Umbria.
The area around the Cathedral and the Piazza is towards the top end of Spoleto but you can access the hill above it and enjoy some of the best views from the historic Rocca Albornoziana fortress. |
