The village of Tenno is situated within the Province of Trentino, at an elevation of 428 metres above sea level. It's located 45 kilometres south west of Trento, the provincial capital of Trentino, and has a population of around 2,000 inhabitants.

The main sight is Lake Tenno, while nearby places of interest include Canale di Tenno, Riva del Garda and Arco.
