​The village of Tremosine sul Garda is situated within the Province of Brescia and has a population of around 2,000 residents.

It stands at an elevation of 414 metres above sea level and is included in the list of Borghi Più Belli d'Italia (most beautiful villages in Italy). Places of interest nearby include Limone sul Garda, Gargnano, Lake Idro and Gardone Riviera.

Tremosine sul Garda is a charming municipality located on a plateau above Lake Garda in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. Perched at an altitude of about 400 meters, Tremosine offers breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains.  The town is divided into several hamlets, each with its own unique character and attractions. ​
History
The history of Tremosine dates back to ancient times, with evidence of human settlements in the area since prehistoric and Roman eras. During the Middle Ages, the town was part of various feudal domains and experienced changes in rulership over the centuries.

Its elevated position on the plateau provided a strategic advantage and a defensive position against potential invaders. Throughout the centuries, Tremosine developed a strong agricultural and rural character, which is still evident in its architecture and way of life today.
