The UTI del Torre territory occupies a total geographical area of 326 square kilometres, including its administrative centre, the town of Tarcento. One of the Intercomunal Territorial Unions of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, it has a total population of around 37,000 inhabitants living within its 9 official comunes (municipalities). ​​​​​​​​​​​​
