For more established hotels, the wider Province of Sassari provides the best options, particularly in towns along the Gallura coastline and in nearby Santa Teresa di Gallura.

  • Nearby coastline and coves can be reached via short walks or by kayak, with small rocky inlets and quieter beaches such as Rena Majore and Cala Pischina. These spots are less crowded and ideal for snorkelling. Trails and paths link various points along the coast.

How to Get to Vignola Mare
By Rail: Vignola Mare does not have its own train station. The nearest station is in Tempio Pausania, approximately 40 kilometres inland. This station is no longer served by regular Trenitalia services, and most connections are made via bus or private transfer from towns such as Olbia or Sassari. The area is best reached by road.

By Road: Vignola Mare is situated on the northern coast of Sardinia, around 65 kilometres north-west of Olbia and 75 kilometres east of Sassari. The journey from Olbia takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes via the SS133 and SP90 roads. Public parking is available near the beach and local accommodations.

  • Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport: Located about 70 kilometres from Vignola Mare, the drive takes roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes. Offers a wide range of domestic and international flights.
