​The Alpi Apuane Regional Park is situated within the Province of Lucca as well as the Province of Massa & Carrara, covering a total geographical area of around 200 square kilometres. 

The mountainous region lies just behind the northern coastline of Tuscany, rising sharply past a series of remote villages. Pisa Airport can be reached in an hour and 42 minutes, a distance of 119 km.

The Alpi Apuane Regional Park is a striking natural area located in the northern part of Tuscany, near the town of Massa. Known for its rugged, dramatic mountain landscapes, the park is part of the Apuan Alps and features towering peaks, deep valleys, and expansive forests. The Alpi Apuane mountains are famous for their marble quarries, including the famous Carrara marble, which has been used for centuries in art and architecture.
