The hill town of Amandola is situated in the Province of Fermo. It has a population of around 3,500 inhabitants and stands at an elevation of 500 metres above sea level.

History
Amandola has ancient origins, dating back to the Roman era when it was known as "Amandula." During the Middle Ages, it became a fortified town due to its strategic location on the trade routes between the Marche and Umbria regions.

Over the centuries, the town was ruled by various noble families, including the Malatesta and the Montefeltro. Today, Amandola retains its medieval character, with well-preserved historic buildings and charming narrow streets.
