Orange  Flag  Towns  of  Marche

The Orange Flag towns of Marche is a collection of 19 small towns and villages in the region which have been picked out by the Touring Club Italiano association to represent their Bandiera Arancione, a mark of excellence awarded to the best locations. 

Marche is a mixture between long stretches of beach on the Adriatic Coast and sweeping countryside dotted with medieval hill towns. It's this latter category that dominates the Orange Flag list here with some beautiful towns including Corinaldo and Acquaviva Picena. One of the greatest joys of exploring Le Marche is the scenery you find around hill towns such as Ripatransone.
