The seaside town of Bagnara Calabra is situated on the Tyrrhenian Coast, in the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria province. 

It has a population of 9.979 inhabitants and is located 31 kilometres north east of Reggio Calabria, the provincial capital. 
The town has two hotels while places of interest nearby include Favazzina, Chianalea, Scilla, Palmi and Tonnara di Palmi.
