How to Get to Bagnara Calabra
By Rail: Bagnara Calabra has its own train station on the Tyrrhenian railway line, operated by Trenitalia. Regional trains connect the town to Reggio Calabria in around 40 minutes and to Villa San Giovanni in approximately 25 minutes. The station is located close to the town centre and within easy reach of the seafront.

By Road: Bagnara Calabra is located on the Tyrrhenian coast of southern Calabria, about 35 kilometres northeast of Reggio Calabria. The drive from Reggio Calabria takes around 40 minutes via the A2 motorway. From Scilla, the journey is approximately 15 kilometres and takes about 20 minutes. Parking is available near the waterfront and around the historic centre.

  • Reggio Calabria Airport: The closest airport, located about 45 kilometres to the south. The journey takes around 45 minutes by car via the A2 motorway.

  • Catania Fontanarossa Airport: Accessible via ferry from Villa San Giovanni to Messina, then by road. The overall journey is around 190 kilometres and takes approximately 3 hours.
