How to Get to Favazzina
By Rail: Favazzina has a small train station on the Lamezia Terme–Reggio Calabria line, served by Trenitalia regional services. Trains connect the village to Reggio Calabria in approximately 30 minutes and to Villa San Giovanni in about 10 minutes. The station is located near the coast and within walking distance of the village and beach area.

By Road: Favazzina is located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, around 30 kilometres north of Reggio Calabria. The drive from Reggio Calabria takes about 35 minutes via the SS18 coastal road. From Villa San Giovanni, the journey is approximately 12 kilometres and takes about 15 minutes. Public parking is available near the seafront, residential areas, and main access roads.

  • Reggio Calabria Airport: The closest airport, located about 35 kilometres to the south. The drive takes approximately 40 minutes via the SS18.
  • Lamezia Terme International Airport: Situated around 110 kilometres to the north, with a driving time of about 1 hour and 40 minutes via the A2 motorway.
