The beach resorts of Abruzzo collection is a category that's separate from the list of seaside towns which are all official municipalities or comuni.

Abruzzo faces the Adriatic Coast on the eastern side of Italy where the landscape is typically an endless stretch of flat, sandy beach.

Within that area there are a mixture of larger towns and cities such as Pescara, interspersed with a number of beach resorts that belong to a nearby comune. Among the highlights are the resorts of Silvi Marina and Marina di Vasto, just below the historic Vasto.
