The village of Bleggio Superiore is situated within the Province of Trentino, at an elevation of 628 metres above sea level. It's located 37 kilometres south west of Trento, the provincial capital of Trentino, and has a population of around 1,500 inhabitants.

Bleggio Superiore is a small and picturesque village located in the Trentino region of northern Italy. Situated in the Giudicarie Esteriori valley, Bleggio Superiore is known for its beautiful natural landscapes, historical heritage, and traditional Alpine charm. ​
History
Bleggio Superiore has ancient origins, dating back to the Roman times when it was an important settlement known as "Blaecium." Throughout history, the village was part of the territories controlled by various ruling powers, including the Republic of Venice and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Bleggio Superiore was once an agricultural and farming community, and its residents preserved traditional Alpine customs and crafts.
