The seaside town of Cattolica is situated within the Province of Rimini and has a population of 17,143 inhabitants.

During the summer months, Cattolica is almost entirely given over to tourism when its long sandy beach is peppered by parasols for as far as the eye can see. Nearby places of interest include Rimini, Riccione, Verucchio and Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna.

Cattolica is a popular coastal town located in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. Situated along the Adriatic Sea, Cattolica is known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant seaside promenades, and lively atmosphere. ​
History
Cattolica's history dates back to ancient times when it was a small fishing village. Over the centuries, the town gradually grew into a popular tourist destination, especially after the opening of the railway line connecting it to other parts of Italy in the late 19th century.
