The seaside towns of Emilia Romagna line the Adriatic Coast in north-eastern Italy. The Emilia Romagna region lies between Marche to the south and Veneto to the north with all three regions sharing the same coastline.
By far the most famous and largest beach resort in Emilia Romagna is the city of Rimini which is also capital of the eponymous province. The two major resorts south of Rimini towards Marche are Riccione and Cattolica, while heading in the opposite direction, north towards Veneto we find a string of seaside towns including Bellaria, Cesenatico and Cervia with Comacchio further north. |
