​The hill town of Cervara di Roma is situated within the Metropolitan City of Rome province, a distance of 70 kilometres east of Rome, the regional capital of Lazio. 

Standing at an elevation of 1,053 metres above sea level it has a population of around 450 residents. Nearby places of interest include Canterano, Rocca Canterano, Subiaco and Tivoli.
