The lakeside village of Colonno is situated in the Province of Como, on the shores of Lake Como. It has a population of around 500 residents and is located a distance of 72 kilometres north of Milan, the regional capital of Lombardy.

Colonno has a Lake Como ferry port, while nearby places of interest include Sala Comacina, Argegno and Villa del Balbianello.

Colonno is a small, picturesque village located on the western shore of Lake Como, in the province of Como, Lombardy. Situated about 10 kilometres north of the city of Como, Colonno is nestled between the lake and the surrounding hills, offering stunning views of the water and the steep, rugged landscapes that define the area. The village is known for its peaceful atmosphere, with narrow streets, traditional stone houses, and a quiet lakeside promenade, making it an ideal spot for those seeking tranquillity.
