​The ski resort of Corvara is situated within the Province of South Tyrol. It stands at an elevation of 1,568 metres above sea level and has a population of around 1,400 residents.

Corvara is a charming alpine village located in the South Tyrol region of northern Italy. Situated in the Alta Badia valley, Corvara is known for its breathtaking mountain landscapes, world-class skiing, and rich Ladin culture. ​
History
Corvara has ancient origins dating back to Roman times when it was a settlement known as "Curia." Throughout history, the region came under the control of various ruling powers, including the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

The village was traditionally a farming and cattle-raising community, and its residents have preserved their unique Ladin culture, including the Ladin language, customs, and traditions. Today, Corvara is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors with its natural beauty and outdoor activities throughout the year.
