The ski resorts of Trentino Alto Adige South Tyrol are perhaps the best that any of the 20 Italian regions can offer.

Trentino Alto Adige South Tyrol is situated in the heart of the Alps, bordered to the north by Austria with Veneto to the east and Lombardy to the south-west. Aside from the dramatic Alpine peaks which contain the majority of ski resorts, the region contains a section of the Dolomites mountain with their unique landscapes.

Major ski resorts in the region include the likes of Madonna di Campiglio, Canazei, Ortisei and Andalo to name just a few.
