​The archaeological site of Eraclea Minoa is situated within the Province of Agrigento and part of the Comune of Cattolica Eraclea. The archaeological area contains remnants of the ancient Greek city which was founded around the 6th century BC.

Just a short distance along the coast lies the secluded Eraclea Minoa Beach, along with the famous Scala dei Turchi beach.
